Our initiative is building a vibrant and inclusive tech ecosystem where beginners and emerging professionals thrive through bootcamps, hackathons, and innovation hubs. We're ensuring Northern voices shape the future of technology—locally and beyond.
The Genesis
Sandlip Oasis began as a small gathering of curious minds passionate about technology and its power to transform lives. What started with a few meetups quickly evolved into a movement focused on creating space for real learning, collaboration, and community-led growth.
By equipping learners with practical skills and opening doors to global conversations, we're reimagining what it means to build from the grassroots.
Our Journey so far
Sandlip Oasis has trained over 75 individuals, hosted 9 IRL events including community meetups, hackathons and build stations both independently and in partnership with others. Our consistency has made us a go-to partner for grassroots developer training in Northern Nigeria. As we grow, our hybrid facility now supports up to 50 developers, positioning us to scale impact across the region.
Our Future
At Sandlip Oasis, our vision is to scale tech education and innovation across Northern Nigeria and, eventually, the continent. We plan to expand into new states, launch more hybrid training programs, and increase our capacity to serve underserved communities. By strengthening partnerships and investing in infrastructure, we're building a future where Northern tech talent is equipped, empowered, and globally competitive.
